I'm Suyash, a recent graduate from UC Davis. I build software, wander often, and stay endlessly curious about why things are the way they are - especially what drives people and what they care about.
During my sophomore year, I found CodeLab, UC Davis's largest software and design agency. I joined as a novice developer alongside designers and a project manager, many of whom are now some of my best friends. Over time, I built software for teams like Goodnotes and Veeva Systems, and have spent the past few months serving as VP of Technology, owning our developer experience from recruitment and curriculum to workshops, open source work, and speakers.
Another formative experience was my summer as a fellow at True Ventures and a software developer at Digg. Being in close proximity to founders and investors, while also shipping production code on an early social platform, lit a fire in me to build at the earliest stages.
Along the way, I sidequested a lot: I met new people, explored unfamiliar places, immersed myself in perspectives that challenged my own, and had unexpected moments.
